Westwood senior Rafael Wang finished his high school career by winning gold and silver medals Saturday. He earned his gold in the 100 breaststroke about an 90 minutes after he claimed silver in the 200 IM.

In the process, the Duke-bound Wang kept his promise that he made when he enrolled at Westwood in 2021. As the Westwood team filed out of the swimming center late Saturday, coach Matt McBrearty wore a gold medal around his neck.
