Warriors Sweep: Westwood Tennis Dominates District Championships
AUSTIN, TX — The Westwood Warrior Tennis Team put on a masterclass performance this past week at the District Championships, solidifying their reputation as a local powerhouse. In a clinical display of skill and depth, the Warriors didn't just win—they dominated, securing both the Boys and Girls overall District Championship titles.
Westwood's relentless pace was evident in the final tallies. Out of the 16 available slots for the Regional Tournament, the Warriors claimed a staggering 10 positions, ensuring a massive orange-and-white presence in the next round of post-season play.

The Warriors proved to be untouchable in the doubles categories, nearly sweeping the top spots across Mixed, Boys, and Girls divisions.

With 10 athletes advancing, the Warriors are carrying massive momentum into the Regional Tournament. If this past week was any indication, the rest of the region has a serious challenge on their hands.
